Cape Cod has so much to offer that it's hard for us to know where to start. The Cape is a resort, vacation, retirement, second home, destination, weekend get-away, retreat, seaside, day trip and family gathering destination. To name a few.
Seaside Village Properties covers the entire Cape Cod area. We understand the differences in each of the towns and are happy to advise our customers as to the most ideal vacation location based on their individual needs and interests. Cape Cod is typically grouped into several different regions, each with its own unique character. Depending on what your are seeking during your stay, some areas are more suitable for you than others. If you plan to do some shopping and dining out, a main street village area might be your best choice. If you desire to spend the days at the beach and enjoy backyard cookouts from your rental home, a beach area rental is perhaps the way to go.
The Upper Cape area consists of the towns of Bourne, Wareham, Falmouth, Mashpee and Sandwich. These towns offer easy proximity to the major highways and the bridges leading off Cape, for those who may be commuting back and forth or are expecting guests during your stay. There are countless beaches, ponds and recreational amenities to be enjoyed, and the Upper Cape offers many fine dining and shopping venues as well.
The Mid Cape area includes the town of Barnstable (which included the villages of Hyannis, Centerville, Marstons Mills, Ostverville, Cotuit, West Barnstable, and Barnstable Village), Yarmouth, Dennis and Harwich. Hyannis offers the Main Street docks, the Kennedy Compound and Museum, antique shops and restaurants. Dennis and Yarmouth has beautiful northside beaches, restaurants and shopping on beautiful Route 6A. Harwich offers wonderful vista views of the Atlantic and cozy main street shops and formal high end dining.
The Lower Cape are consists of the towns of Brewster, Chatham, Orleans, Eastham, Wellfleet, Truro and Provincetown. As one travels further down the Cape, from the Upper Cape to the Mid Cape and then to the Upper and Outer Cape areas, we see a thinning population. The Lower Cape offers magnificent coastlines and beaches, hiking and bike trails, artist shops and wonderful restaurants. And so much more.
The Islands of Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard have their own unique qualities and features. There are ferries going to the islands from both Falmouth and Hyannis. There are also multiple flights to and from the Islands from the Barnstable Airport, located at the rotary in Hyannis. The Islands are a great place to visit for a day trip or family gathering. The islands offer great views, great food and shopping, and getting there can be half the fun!
